Boy, did that last post turn out to be a big lie. It's just that TAP takes up so much time, I hardly have enough wind in me by the end of each day. But hey, few things other than the blog I am working on. Looking to do a short which is annoying to say the least. It is usually the process I go through when working on a low budget film. It starts out all optimistic, then select individuals throwing monkey wrenches into the machine, disheartening period and then the soldiering on with a 'do-it-yourself' mentality. I am currently between 3 and 4. Suit & Bone is the name of my film, so look out for more information on that.
Also will be vamping the TAP site and S & J Foods site in the coming weeks so more of that too soon
In the meantime check out TAP or add me on FB. Or not.
Sum up,
Blaahhhg.

I know, I have been on one of my forced hiatuses again, so thought I'd touch base once more to let you see what I am up to.
Also some great news on the festival front for Red Man and Merchants Of Quietus. Click to have a read.
But hey, I'll be more regular with the posty post.

This is only the beginning.
Prepare for war.
A common phrase of the independent creative it seems. Another forced hiatus from posting on here, but I am on the verge of launching a platform that has been a key focus of late. Also doing the odd story art job and animation.... or at least working up to it.
Re: Festival front, got Merchants Of Quietus and Red Man in the Portobello Film Festival 2014, with Red Man being nominated for best animation. More news still on Red Man coming soon too.
So. It has been a relatively busy few weeks.
But will be diligent and start religiously posting stuff on here.
Sum up,
T.A.P.

Yakuza Storyboards
Now that's intimidation. Yakuza tattoos. A mural that says "I'm bout this life!" and "Pain is weakness leaving the body". Tattoos that stop by the wrists, so they can be hidden if needed but to see just a bit of it through an unbuttoned shirt, or a rolled up sleeve... ain't nothing to ***k with.
Did some storyboards for a shot narrative a while back and thought it'd be cool to share some of it. Check it out:
Let me know what you think.

'Bluntspear at the Film Festivals'. Sounds more epic than it is.
Few updates on the Festival front for my films Red Man and Merchants Of Quietus. An all around good look methinks. Both films will be at the Portobello Film Festival and Red Man will also be at Aesthetica Short Film Festival.
Currently been busy with a few stuff, hence the radio silence. But hoping to launch a few new projects come September.

Sum up,
Great and sad times we living in. Just never compromise. Too many people change for the worse just to conform. Bleh.

"Arnilia Grove" Storyboards [SF]
Did some quick artwork for a pitch earlier this week for some great guys. More on that soonish. But, also did some storyboards for a short film called "Arnilia Grove", to be directed by Christophe Streule. Some steamy stuff, but hey, I was focused. Honestly.
Check it out:
Sum up,
July and seemingly August have been full throttle. Can't stop, won't stop. And I miss my bro.

Red Man: Top 10 at Loch Ness Festival in Huffington Post review
Superb news on Red Man, the motion comic / 2D animation I made earlier this year. Been quite busy storyboarding and filming an online web series so didn't have time to post this. But Red Man made it as one of the top 10 film shorts to go and see at the Loch Ness Film Festival 2014!
I want to go to there. Awesome stuff, you can read it all here in the Huffington Post .... post. Here:

Article is by Leigh Clark. See what else made the body bag list.
Scotland's greatest king demands allegiance. Follow Red Man's progress by liking the Facebook Page.
