2012! Story Art to start the Year Off.

Generals, Riders, Deusches and Dudettes. Welcome to 2012. Yay! We made it. Hi- survival five! Buddha bless you! This year, like every year, I have decided to go in hard. Differences is that this year I am not doing it for money or for someone else... I am doing it for me. I'll still be doing remedial, client-ish. But my own pieces will be getting special treatment.

100 th Post!

Honestly, I wish there was something more epic to put up for the hundreth post of the Blunts blog. An epic piece of art. Or even a giveaway. Alas, I'm poor and broke (it had to be said twice [like how Jesus repeats]) so you'll have to settle for some more previs work I did for the feature I've been brought to work on.

Concept Art for a Feature

Thought it wouldn't hurt to show some of the concept art I recently did for a feature I've been brought on to. Will be storyboarding it as well. Pin my medal of valour high on my chest. Let's go to war. IED placed under a narrow dirt road....wait for it....then KABOOM!

Layers on layers, colour, tone, light, multiply, add, linear light. 9 images in the space of 4 days. All in all good stuff.

Spent too much time looking for pictures of methlabs. I'm probably on a law enforcement database somewhere.
