Hello gang! Check out this cool image I did for the awesome titanic competition hosted by Talenthouse and the infamous Linkin Park to celebrate their release of the single Castle of Glass. 'Fissure King' is a semblance of power and weakness, almost like being a king without subjects. But what do you think. Listen to the track on Spotify and see if the image conjures the same emotion as the song:
It doesn't help the Golden Rule much either when you are respawned in the vicinity where you were gunned down by a slippery-slick pistol totting dude who happens to be 13, screaming profanity at you as he does.
So when you reappear behind his general location, knowing he's somewhere camping eagerly to snuff out your revenge kill. That's when you efficiently erupt from the corner and let him have it.... or go for the overkill approach and sloppily RPG yourself... or get killed by the same guy- again!! Obviously go for no. 1. Or just go H.A.M. and get the rocket grenade off right.
So this image is testament to all Golden-Rule-breaking, gun-totting, extra-banana-clip-having, 'I'll kill your very spirit by stabbing you in the back' gamers who are all about vendettas:
That time again superfriends. To rally around a ronin in total alliance as he dares to strike at the sky and the bodies that float there. Pompous, puffy white clouds. Infuriating!
www.talenthouse.com/bluntspear. I will need you to come out in your tens and hundreds. Not now, but when the time comes (in 13 days), be there and vote. I will be forever in you debt.... yeah. But who says you can't watch the entry now:

Behold, ye mighty people. Did a little Edit test of Red Man and currently redoing some elements. Well, most elements. Not most, but a lot. So working on that now. What do you think?
Sum up,
Could this be my undoing... mentally I mean.
Did some video work for the reNOUNed Adam Wedd for the launch of his debut EP: 'People, Places and Things'. Get it. Okay, moving swiftly on...
It is a BTS of sorts, shot on my Canon 60D/Rodemic on the day where they did the last bits of recording including sax guy and double bass guy. The EP's making some traction on the web-o-sphere, so support that independent muscle, follow him on Twitter, FB and all that jazz, and have a listen to some of his stuff on YouTube. If you like it, show some love and then why not buy the EP when it comes out.
At the moment just exporting some animation from Ae for a tutorial video I am doing, plus thinking about MOQ's intro. Plus, waiting for an update on a promo that technically should be happening this week. But we'll see. For now, I'm just backing up the archives and deleting all these unknown files from the crypt that is my computer. So if I have an unclaimed piece of edit, raw footage, unuploaded footage, rendered image that you haven't got because you were too busy or couldnt be bothered, well they are going bye-bye. Space is limited as is. How does one go through a Tera that quickly. I'll never know.
Sum up, Papagayo is the nectar of the animation gods.
Recently had the opportunity to produce some artwork and story art for a promo for a reknowned sports brand which was quite cool to say the least. The top tiers seemed to like it, particularly my clairvoyant draughtsmanship of the protagonist whom I did not see before I drew him. Here is a quick image that didn't make the final cut.
That aside. MOQ is on hold (I told you all I shot it in February, right?) as I am doing some lip sync for a tutorial video that really may as well be that thing... you know, like supposed we as humans had a thing or action that could 'short circuit' us. Like, example, we say a phrase like "What do you mean the horse blurs your vision" that triggers an aneurysm in your brain. Maybe lip sync will be that for me. Who knows.
