GSOM storyart, Harbinger due date and other little stuff

Dear comrades, we find ourselves once again in this holy tabernacle of Creativity and Intellectual Thought. Did some boards for brighthands, known the directors for a while, always a pleasure doing business. They run Docheads as well, doc screening event on Brick Lane they hold intermittently...bi-weekly i think. But we digress. Couple things doing... oh yeah befor that, boards for a GSOM promo- Management School...for managers:

Also my dear friends will be announcing the official release date and the cover design for the Harbinger Anthology. Really excited and anxious. Still need you to visit the group and the page join and like. We need all the support we can get. Just drop us a line through one of the various avenues on this side of the Blunts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Just wrapping up a few things as per usual. Also once again, doing more material for Slick Flick. Apparently the previous stuff I did are up and live on the app. Wonder how they are doing commercially? Anyways, more stills taking, and comic making. Comic Life, you may have an iDVD feel, but you do what you say on the can. Came across this documentary, not a fan of the genre, but i really liked this one, a sad one really. Goes to show humans respect little of true culture.

Sum up,
Love life, and be safe.

School of Life and other Unimportant Stuff.

Won a competition. Photostory. 1st place. 1000 or 500 pounds- can't remember. Blunts all around. I'll pass. Either way I have to split the money fiddy/fiddy. My photostory was based on a director's film. Jake Polonsky. School of Life. In the streets? Nah. Name of the film. Personally, I learnt fuck all in school. Lecturing pricks. See here a page (4 of 14):

Linguistic ingenuity. Like Imhotep, but dumber.
On another note: Currently entering this here competition:

Think Roswell. Will put up some sketches sooninsh. More meetings tomorrow and Saturday and throughout April.

Sum up,
They are like the Mafia "Just when you think you're out, they drag you back in" Crabs I guess.

Labours of the Week

This week...been quite busy. Too many things to remember. Just thought i'd slot this entry to keep true to my vows. Storyboarding a cute short for some dudes somewhere in the UK [I say 'cute' because the have those carbon copy curs you call children, and 'somewhere' because they are outside LANDAN]. Well get it while it's hot, dirtbags! It won't be free for long. Matter of fact it isn't. Just feeling real generous and brushing off the dust off the pen But that's the least important of my week's events.

Had to build a holder page for One More Sun, a Film Picture company for long time Creative General Brian Taylor and conjured up a logo out of the deep recesses. Aparrently Mr. Taylor liked it, even said many of his industry friends said it was real unique and professional grade. Flick of the wrist, click of the mouse. And I am not even a Graphic Designer if you were to judge me by my University qualifications. Not haughty, just a matter of fact. Have a look at the holder page I uploaded, just something to put on the front end until something more permanent is erected:

ONE MORE SUN website

And in meeting up with the General we also discussed my script we are working on; he gave suggestions and it has already evolved into a behemoth. I'm almost worried my friends with have me admitted or become overly worried. More soon.

Ooo, yes. Check out Slick Flicks, doing some comic/photo work for Maria, it's founder from Romania. Cool lady, and she has revitalised my lust for the graphic novel. Solomon Kane anyone?

"What in God's Holy name... Oh it's that heathen drug-addled strumpet Kate Moss.
The devil has reanimated her dead bones and career!"

Check out Slick Flick here:

Currently working on a photostory. Something to do with Justin Beiber. Yeah, don't ask. I just found out who this 'craze' is- shows I'm becoming an old man. Then even young, I was never one to jump on the bandwagon. No offense intended.

Harbinger the ebook is 98.9 percent done.... exporting the last clip. Will keep you posted. And that's that.

Sum up,
Website is done and will be up in a few days. Oh totally forgot about that. Peace!

Superhero Showdown 2011: Thor vs. X-Men vs. Green Lantern vs. Captain America

Interesting read. Not sure I'm confident in Ryan Renolds to dawn the Green Lantern get up. Don't get me started on Captain America, he faught the Nazi, but according to Nazi doctrine, he would be the perfect man: white, blonde, blue eyes, lean and mean, and follows orders like a bitch. In any case, my money is on either X or Captain America. Followed closely by Thor (I'm going purely by the trailers I've watched months ago. But DC will always come out on top. They have messed up before but they have brought back their franchises back to the forefront. Xena for Wonder Woman! I digress:

Sum up,
"In brightest day..." Superman has kryptonite. Batman, soul-shattering guilt and pain. How the hell can your weakness be the colour yellow!? But in a comic I read, an older, future Green lantern built, ruled and maintained an entire city with his mind without having to focus his power through the ring. Kudos.

Goddamn Orful

Thought I'd share this with you, a nice little site I found via my Twitter networking. Orful Comics has a nice little piece of comic heaven, nicely drawn panels chronicling the everyday epicness of it's creator Rob Cureton. Read for a much needed chuckle everyday.

Sum up,
Thinking of doing something in book form.  We'll start with my manifesto.

The "Suit & Bone" Short Film Electronic Press Kit is years in the making

The Suit & Bone Short Film I directed has been making its rounds in film festivals since its campaign launch in December 2021m and I am...
